Completed bathroom with walk in shower for easy entry without a step and timeless travertine on the floor
Splashbacks were matched to the bathroom walls which gives continuity between rooms
A Walk in robe was created off the master bedroom which allowed extra space in the bedroom
We framed up the wardrobe in bedroom 2 in order to make room for a laundry on the other side of the wall
vj panelling was used to keep with the character of the house
In this bedroom we removed the wardrobe to create a space for the bathroom vanity on the other side of the wall
We completely gutted and re-configured the bathroom. In doing so it opened up the space and made it more accessible. Also, removing the bath increased the floor area, therefore a larger shower was possible.
By removing the floor tiles we could start fresh and lay a new screed in the bathroom. We replaced the floor tiles also in the toilet and laundry which allowed us to cut out for new floor wastes.
Fitted new wall to wall vanity allowing plenty of storage
We also installed a new frameless shower screen to enable easy access into the shower.
Bathroom taps were changed to mixers which are easier to use
Materials used: Wall framing, Villaboard, waterproofing, frameless glass, tiles and trims.
Trades: Carpenter, Electrician, Plumber, Glazier, Plasterer, Waterproofer, Painter and tiler.
